YouTube videos are important but if you don’t have a brain for science and don’t want to learn about metabolic pathways for the Citric Cycle, that’s fine, there’s no law that says you have to understand or like biochemistry, so I'll simplify eating correctly, here!
The fact is that you have a human body, it reacts directly to what you eat, when you eat, how much you eat, it reacts to how much fuel you require, which is determined by how much movement (work) you do. It reacts to outside forces and tries to protect you from sicknesses and injury. It’s a marvellous piece of kit. ❤️
It works within very narrow ranges for optimum peak performance and can tolerate a lot when pushed to its limit. But it does have a limit, and it does, as a result of all I just said, have a tentative use-by date.
The gift of life is a result of millions of years of our DNA 🧬 being passed from generation to the next, and by that DNA ever so slowly adapting the best evolutionary traits to survive and flourish.
Eating is the way to take in fuel, we break it down, we use it and store what we don’t immediately require for a rainy day ☔️
It’s a beautiful system, and it responds well to attacks from most viruses and small injuries. You can live a lifestyle (including the eating part) within that narrow band of optimum, or you can push the edges a bit and break your precious gift altogether.
Given we have free choice and natural instincts, we can stumble through life and do okay and dodge major trauma for a while, some longer than others.
Food is where we choose and can train (adapt) our bodies, just like an athlete trains for an event, except we are training for our lives, so we work optimally.
I prefer to eat in a fashion that trains me to be sharp as a tack mentally, energetic physically, satisfied nutritionally and fit into my old clothes 😂🤣😂🥴

I agree!
Youtube can be a great source of information, as well as misinformation.
It’s important to take everything with a grain of common sense.
- Cheers!
